A little bit about our members
This page will grow, I hope, over time - and will eventually become just an index page to individual member pages. Here, you can tell us a litle bit about yourself if you want - or you can tell me and I'll tell everybody else for you.
We have bio's for the following members, just click on their name to view it.
My name is Lance and I'm a 34 yr old Bodyguard and sherriffs deputy in Charlotte NC but a Florida native. Im hopin to get out of law enforcement entirely some day (dont tell Tcar...hes my chief) but for the meantime it does it for me.
I been at eq for around 2 yrs and founded the Scourge after me and Raeliis wasn't happy with the way we were treated in Legacy of Apocalypse (our first guild) and things were good for a while....but I turned over lead to one of my officers as the pressures of being guild leader were killin the fun factor for me.
I left the guild soon after because I didnt like the direction the guild was going. The Scourge was down hill after that...and once i was ready to be guild leader again I had Sony reup my status as guild leader and then booted everyone that was here when I came back (boy were they suprised) so we now have the Crimson Scourge version 2.0

A brief history of Buffinya in RL.
My real name is Nick and I am 27 years old (bet you though Buffinya was a woman in RL, but nope.) I do tend to get into Character when I play her though.
I have been Playing EQ off and on since Kunark came out. I Live in the Bay Area of northern California - about 45-60-mins from S.F. (depending on Traffic).
I am Currently not working, I used to be a UPS driver but I injured my lower back so I may be going back to school when Disability runs out (hence the long hours I pull most days).
I am Father to the most imaginative 5 year old boy in the world. I get to spend every weekend with him and that is the time I cherish most. In our spare time away from EQ we like to enjoy Riding (his first) Dirt bike; Playing Bass (still learning); Reading (clockwork orange again atm); Riding our Skateboards (no I am not too old); Going to see live music when ever possible; Cooking; Painting; Drawing; Making and listening to music; and spending time with family and friends………. Which I also do while playing EQ seeing as 6 of my RL friends have been playing just about as long if not longer than I have.
And in all my years of meeting different people, guilds, groups, etc…… I must say that Crimson Scourge has (by far) got to be the most fun, courteous, helpful, sarcastic, funny, and just all and all Great Guilds in the Game. Thank you all for Being and letting me be part of the Family and making me feel at home.

This is just a bit about the person behind the kitty. I am 32. I began playing less than a year ago because I got tired of watching my husband play. We have been married for 10 years.
We live in the Central Valley of Californina, about two hours drive to anywhere (Yosemite or the Bay Area). I like to refer to it as the armpit of California.
I am a Special Ed teacher of severely handicapped children. The time I spend in Norrath sometimes makes me feel a bit special ed. One would think that after watching my husband play a beastlord for so long that it would come easy for me, errr think again.
I enjoy the social side of the game, even though I don't always say much, and I look forward to growing with the guild.

At this point Huzan is a 37 Beast lord. He only hunts for Experience when Sizana is Online also. They were created together and Level together for the most part. Tuminn is my SK and he will be grouping with Kendaaria, Sizana's Necromancer.
I also have made up a couple other characters: Temerian (namesake of the first toon I ever had and still have) will get the last name Tunareson as did his predecessor (forgive me spelling at times) and Belphin another namesake, my enchanter.
My first set of characters started on Terris Thule 5 years ago, after most of my friends had left the game for real life or other games, I moved the account to Druzzil free after the server merge. Belphin is a 62 enchanter, Temerian is a paladin and Lendel a cleric, both at 57. Tumin is my SK and is 54. I have a full line up of 8 characters there. Since that time, friends have started coming back to everquest and they are on Prexes (formally Terris Thule) so I made another Temerian there and a Wisbik, copy of my wizard, so I can play with some of thier lower alts once in a while. They are great players, and I helped to raise them from newbies, until they passed me in levels before leaving the game... at this point I go off on a tangent... I spent most of my EQ life helping others, learn the game, learn basic raids skills, grow, and helped with tradeskills where I can. I spent alot of time farming cause I have a jeweler at 262, and a smith at 200 and a baker at 200. I have also dabbled in most skills except poison making. and might as well say potions since they have different potions now lol. This is why my highest alt in 5 years is 62. I had spent my life changing to help whoever and never really working one to get to the high end. I also have a Belphin on Firiona server who is a couple blues from 60 and kei casting ability.
Sizana and I are officers on Druzzil in our guild, and she spends more time there then here with responsibilities.
I have 2 alts tagged as officers, and I make a showing now and again, but at the moment am having more fun here with this group so I am here more often then not. I am playing for fun and working my alts here. I am also a bazaar nut. I have made and spent over 100k here since Huzan started, and at 37 Huzan is pretty well set for equipment for a while. Sizana is mostly set up, and a number of our alts have some decent if not great equipment. Sizana also has a horse since Huzan has the new warhorse from the expansion.
I make vendor runs daily (well almost daily) and can spens a couple hours looking at vendors from around the world. I have found spider fur armor and other things for next to nothing on vendors, and some other pieces for a couple three hundred at times. I buy up bone chips which sell occaisionally for 10p a stack and use pelts in tailoring to make bags, or leather padding for sale as well. I resell some things that I find cheap like acrylia armor that others made while skilling up, windstones, and ldon smithing ingredients and velium, all for 20pp or less mostly and resell in bazzar for 25-100pp each. and things like that. I normally am lowest cost for most things in bazaar, and get a quick turnover and run again I would rather set price lower so others can afford, or resell if they want. I get what I need and feel better with a fair price then sitting till someone decides to pay my price like some folks. I have dropped a couple things in the bank, and right now with tailoring and such I am probably at the 1k mark or less in coin so I cant afford to do alot for other folks, but I do try to let the guild know when I see something that seems like a bargain. Brungoo has purchased a couple of the items to help guildies when I found them.
Anyways after all this, I like to play, and like all the different aspects of the game from tradeskills to quests to group to raids. I have been in a number of guilds over the years, and I try to stay in the same guild rather then switch around. I would rather help a guild grow and do things, where some folks get to a point where they believe they would rather move to other guilds instead of helping a guild to grow. They want things for themselves and dont have the patience to wait as the guild gets to that level , so they go elsewhere to get things they want. I have nothing against this, just had to mention it. when someone leaves I wish them luck and am sorry they didnt stay to help. but its a game and we all pay to play, so do whatever it is that makes you happy and have fun...
Have I said enough yet? group with me and get to know me... LOL poor star got an earful the first time she grouped with us. I either talk too much or too little and it seems I am more prone to too much

I was the youngest in a family of four boys and one girl. Although things like knitting, sewing and cooking were learnt, I spent more time doing boyish things: fishing, coarse game hunting, riding, etc. To this day, I still prefer sawdust to talcum powder, and petrol to perfume!
You will hear me talking about moving five tons of gravel single-handed, or building a garden gate from scratch, but never hear much about housework!
My first marriage failed - mostly because a 16 year old girl is not really ready for marriage, no matter how adult she feels. But my second marriage is coming up to the 20 year anniversary
There is a son from that first marriage, now in the army, who has not been seen for many years - I feel I failed him, but cannot bring myself to make any more effort to reconcile our differences - and a step-daughter from my second marriage. I have 5 grandkids, 1 by my son, and 4 by my step-daughter.
My partner is disabled - so my time is spent looking after them. This means that I sometimes need to go AFK to deal with their needs, but otherwise have a lot of spare time to sit around the house. I have used this time wisely...
First, I attended a local college for two years, to become a motorcycle mechanic, then I spent five years studying with the OU (Open University, a top ten UK University with whom you study at home) to gain a BSc in computing, and finally, I bought EQ - at which point my life was put on hold.

Hi peeps(smiles). I live in north central Florida, working as an assistant manager at an auto center. Married with 5 kids (only one still at home and she plays with me. Have numerous alts Maxellian 56 ranger,Dretzz 53 necro,Ubet 46 pally and high 30's shammy, cleric and beastlord and finally a enc about lv 47.
After working long hours I enjoy playing EQ with my daughter. She is a great 12 year old. If one ever needs help in the game just holler as my only constraint to play is I do not have the last expansion.
Rayzzorvon is a lv 66 wizzy and his only claim to fame is a baking skill of 266 (rats burned the bread).

I really am blonde, and don't take offense at funny blonde jokes or comments, unless they are meanly presented. Anything in fun? I love it!
I am a divorced mother of 3, two of whom are now successfully raised to adulthood (early 20's), mother-in-law to one, (she DOESN''T consider me to be evil), and grandmother to one, a beautiful bouncing baby boy! My youngest is 11, and he keeps me active and "in-the-know" about the youth culture. I am also on occasion "house mother" to all of his assorted friends, and the kids tend to hang out here on the weekends or whenever they are able to, where we all play our various gaming genres and enjoy each other's company! My oldest boy is in the US Army and is currently stationed in Iraq; I am proud of him and of his service, and thus I tend to avoid discussions of the war... Everyone is welcome to their personal opinions, but my kid is there and that is all I can cope with right now! My oldest is a daughter, and she is my rock--she is beautiful, intelligent, and helps me to keep persepective on things! She says she is my biggest fan, and is definitely one who encourages me to get out and try stuff!
I work in the high stress field of mental health, as the crisis response supervisor at a residential treatment center for suicidal and mentally ill young people (11 to 17 years old). At times the work is fun and entertaining, but at times it can be down right frightening, especially when it DOES become an issue of life and death... EQ is one of my ways to unwind and regroup: I can take my frustrations out on the MOBs and not on my family. I also am an avid reader, of murder mysteries and fantasy primarily, although horror, thrillers, and psychological suspense all have equal space on my book shelves. My library card gets a good workout! I am also a talented needlewoman and I love to sew, quilt, knit, embroider, etc... I can do just about anything with a needle and thread! (unfortunately Rae is not so adept...). I love my back yard, my gardens, and going for walks along the river... I also love riding motorcycles (strictly as a passenger), and am known to be a "cheap date"--don't drink much, and don't tend to have expensive tastes...
I am also a student! I am working to finish a Master of Science program in Clinical Psych, as I have gone as far in my field as I can at the BS level, and school can be very challenging. As such, my attendance in the guild and guild activities is often predicated by my homework load and what papers are due. I recently decided to give myself a break and cut back a little on school cuz my life was too full, so I am off until April, and then will only be taking one class the next two terms. After that, I have an internship and my master's thesis to finish and I will be done!
I have been with Crimson Scourge since it's inception, and Brungoo and I have worked hard to see the guild become what we envisioned "way back when", when we were just in our teens ourselves... I have only played EQ for a little over a year, and while I won't say I am addicted, I certainly enjoy the company of those I have met and I appreciate the dedication to the guild I have seen from so many members. While the game is fun in and of itself, for me it is the social interactions among the guild members that add that extra layer of enjoyment to being on, and when I need to be away for any length of time, I miss it!
So that is me in a nutshell, and I look forward to getting to know others of you better too!

I am 39, married to my wonderful wife of 13 years, Michele. We have 4 children, 1 grandchild Hanna, 5 horses - appaloosasas, 12 barn cats, and 2 inside cats on a little farm in southcentral Missouri, thats a mouthful!! lol.
I am a refinishing supervisor for a EMS helicopter company, in laymens terms... I paint helicopters.
I like my work, and love playing EQ. Been playing for almost a year now, and love this guild. I have met some really nice people in game, it keeps my belief up that there really are nice people in the world.
Look forward to kicking some mob butt in game with you all. Take care.

Devastation, mayhem, and a sword he can swing... these are a few of Uen's favorite things...
In game:
What?!? What do you want? Life story... what kind of touchy feely crap is that? Why do you want to know about my history? Trying to be friendly!? Bah, friendship is an aberation, as Innoruk has proclaimed. I'll only tell you this once, so listen closely. There are exactly three types of people in this world: those I can tolerate and can use, those I can simply tolerate, and those that I must destroy. You are quickly falling into that final category, so I would advise you to leave me, quickly, before I introduce you to my new weapon.
The real deal (much more pedestrian):
Name: Shawn
Age: 35
Occupation: Systems Analyst in production software support
Not a whole lot to say - my first EQ experience wasright before Kunark came out, and I played for about a year (amusingly, my first character was a HEF Pally on Terris-Thule... he still exists, just doesn't get played much). All the people who I played with drifted away, and eventually so did I. I spent some time on other MMORPGs (AO and CoH/CoV primarily), and then, about a year ago, Meu/Brum starts working where I do, and reminds me of all the fun I had here. So I eventually had to come back to check it out, and lo and behold, the addiction resurfaced. And yes, Meu, I'm gonna get you for that.
Other than EQ history, the only other relevant information is that I have 2 happenin' kids (a 12yr old daughter from my ex-wife and a 5yr old son from my ex-GF) who are (sorry for the cliche here) the lights of my life. The visitation schedule with my son causes my weekend gameplay schedule to be somewhat spotty, which is why you'll often see me on at odd times.
