Grouping chart
Grouping is a major part of the game, and while - for the best experience - it is best to group with players close to your own level, there are times when you want or need to group with those a few more levels away than is perfect.
You may want to help a guildie get that ding; you may want a guildie to help
you get that ding; you may be helping on an epic or quest; the list is endless - the problem, though, is that if you are grouped, one or more may not get exp, or kill credit maybe.
Now, we all know (roughly) the formula: your level times one and a half, plus one. How many of us have got the answer right, though? Besides, that only tells you how high you can go - what if you want to know how low? The formula for that (I worked it out) is: your level minus one divided by one and a half. Much as I hate to admit it, I would have trouble with that without a calculator!
OK, so you can sit down with a pen, paper, and calculator, and work out what levels you can group with; you can 'suck it and see' - try grouping and see if you get exp or not; OR, you can use the form below. Just enter your level, and instantly know the lowest and highest levels you can group with. Simple.
For the purposes of this page, I have ignored the fact that the highest level available is 70. When SOE raise the bar, this page will be ready!
